Water-repellent/hydrophilic coating agent that protects the surface from water and carbon dioxide.

Prevents dirt by repelling dust. Usable on concrete, stone, and painted surfaces. [Ceramic Coating Surface Protector: Sera Aqua DC Coat]

Imbues the substrate with protection from water and carbon dioxide. Additionally, it forms a transparent glass film on the surface of the substrate as a surface coating agent, demonstrating excellent functionality. 【Features of Sera Aqua DC Coat】 ■ The anti-static function prevents dust accumulation and keeps surfaces clean. ■ It is a room-temperature curing glass that does not degrade under ultraviolet light. ■ It is highly resistant to acids and is completely unaffected by acid rain. ■ It is an inorganic room-temperature curing glass with strong water repellency, making it very difficult to get dirty. 【Examples of Applications】 ■ Stone materials: Granite, marble, limestone, sandstone, tuff, slate ■ Cement: Concrete, cement-based exterior panels, concrete blocks ■ Ceramics: Bricks, tiles, etc. ◆ About Our Company: Functional Materials Lab ◆ We established the "Functional Materials Lab" in Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture, aimed at developing coatings using new materials. Together with our engineers, we are engaged in the development of paints and coating agents. In addition to water-repellent coatings, we also offer hydrophilic coatings, and based on the knowledge and experience we have cultivated over the years, we are developing new markets and products. Please feel free to contact us. *For detailed explanations and sample requests, please do not hesitate to inquire.

Nano Dispersion: Scratch resistance and surface protection in UV curing systems.

Nanoparticle dispersion that provides both surface protection against scratches and alleviation of internal stress in films and coatings.

BYK-UV 3518 Features: It provides the highest level of scratch resistance and wear resistance without adversely affecting properties such as gloss and transparency. Impact resistance is improved, and the flexibility of radiation-curable clear coats is enhanced. UV-reactive modification crosslinks nanoparticles with the binder. A special advantage of BYK-UV 3518 is the ability to use additives at very high doses as "nano-fillers" to significantly improve pencil hardness and scratch resistance. BYK-UV 3519 Features: It provides the highest level of scratch resistance and wear resistance without adversely affecting properties such as gloss and transparency. Impact resistance is improved, and the flexibility of radiation-curable clear coats is enhanced. UV-reactive modification crosslinks nanoparticles with the binder, further increasing the hardness of the coating. The combination of improved hardness and flexibility, especially when using UV hard coats, increases the options for binders and monomers even when stronger shrinkage is observed.
